OTHER PROJECTS
Twenty One Pilots Magazine Feature Spread
By using Adobe Indesign and Procreate, I created this magazine spread based on the article titled Twenty One Pilots Have Scored The First Real Coronavirus–Related Hit Single by Hugh McIntyre. The spread consists of illustrations of the band members created in Procreate, and several symbols of their newest song.
Harry Potter Movie Poster
Using Adobe Illustrator for my Introduction to Computer Graphics class, I created this Harry Potter movie poster, utilizing the color palette for the “houses” of each Harry Potter house and the greatest symbols of the movie.
Self-Portrait Project
This design was inspired by my desire to travel, and includes layers of graphics designed in Adobe Photoshop.
Ordinary Object Typography
For my Foundations in Graphic Design class, we were tasked with creating our own typeface using an ordinary object. The design of the typeface aims to look naturalistic and true to the form. The typeface is completely handcrafted, and was put together using Adobe Photoshop.
Brand Mockup
After designing the first drafted logo and business cards for Kylie Breen Photography in Adobe Illustrator, I utilized a business card mockup to display the results.
Falmouth Beach Committee Rack Cards
These rack cards were distributed across Falmouth beaches in Cape Cod. The cards were created in Adobe Illustrator, and then other elements were added by using Canva.
Tarot Cards
Our class was tasked with designing our own tarot cards after researching the meanings of the major arcana or the minor arcana, and we used the understanding of symbolism, iconography, and visual metaphor to design our cards. Each card contains at least 10 assets, 10+ layers in Photoshop, a pattern that we designed ourselves, blending modes and layer masks, and more. For my project, I focused on Marvel characters, as I felt each character heavily related to the card that they were designated to.
Pet Portrait
After finding a copyright-free Renaissance painting, I cloned out the head of the woman using Photoshop and added a high-quality image of my dog. Using filters, adjustment layers, and blending modes, I changed the texture of the image to match that of the oil painting.
